hours Mission Statement To clean up our community one street at a time, thereby beautifying our surroundings and creating a positive attitude in our community and city.Greetings,Operation C.A.N. (clean another neighborhood) is a community service based project aimed at cleaning our community one street and one neighborhood at a time. We pick a geographic location in our community and begin cleaning, lots, streets, and parks, abandoned homes etc. While some other community services organizations receive compensation from the County and other public works and civil entities, Operation C.A.N. is a self sufficient organization, we subsidize our operation by recycling materials retrieved during clean up (operation scrap) i.e. aluminum, iron, glass and other materials that can be sold or recycled, creating a greener environment for our community and posterity. We are a non-profit organization that has 106 years of continued service to the community and we are recognized by the state of Texas as a non-profit.If you have community service hours that you have been ordered to complete by a municipality in the cities of Dallas, Duncanville, DeSoto, and Lancaster we can assist you in completing those hours.
